(Source: United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Texas) HOUSTON - The eight defendants charged in this district in a scheme in which fraudulent tax returns were filed using identification information that was stolen and used without lawful authority have all been ordered to prison, announced U.S. Attorney Kenneth Magidson along with Postal Inspector in Charge Adrian Gonzalez of the U.S. Postal Inspection Service (USPIS) and Special Agent in Charge Rick Goss of IRS-Criminal Investigation (CI).
